Storyline:
With much of the world's population now an undead horde, R is a young and oddly introspective zombie. While fighting with and feeding on a human scavenger party, R meets Julie and feels an urge to protect her. What happens next is the beginning of a strangely warm relationship that allows R to begin regaining his humanity. As this change spreads through the local undead population like a virus, Julie and R eventually have to face a larger issue when the very nature of their friendship is challenged. Caught between the paranoid human forces and the ferocious "Bonies", zombies who are a mutual threat, R and Julie must find a way to bridge the differences of each side to fight for a better world no one thought possible.

With zombies currently all the rage, I'm not totally surprised to see a romance twisted up with "The Walking Dead." Warm Bodies is good for a few chuckles and is a movie I would describe as "cute." Despite the zombie aspect, Warm Bodies will mostly appeal to young females. Anyone with any affinity for traditional zombies will either hold their hand out at the screen while thinking "Come on!" or will cringe at the thought of what logically should be happening to the overexposed humans. Oh yeah...this movie is slow. There are quite a few inconsistencies in the actions of the zombies, and more than a few "Why?!" moments for the actions of the humans. There are many questions to be answered by the gaping plot holes and the story has zero interest in fleshing them out. Warm Bodies doesn't make the best romantic date movie, nor does it offer up any substantial chills. What is does offer is something weirdly charming. If you like my reviews, add me as a fan. I'll add you back!

I LOVED THIS MOVIE! I am long past my teen years, and I found it to be clever, creative, warm-hearted, inspiring, witty, inventive. This is great for teens and older.

This is a strange combination of movie genres . It's a comedy/zombie/love story [Boy , there are not too many movies in that category] . There are even some comparisons to Romeo & Juliet [Nicholas goes by the name of R {he can not remember his whole name , just that it started with the letter R} and Teresa is named Julie] . It's set in a zombie aftermath and Nicholas plays one of the mindless dead zombies that spends most of his time wandering around an abandoned airport [he even lives in his own empty airplane] looking for his next meal [preferably , some human brains] . When he meets Teresa , a live human , something happens and he does not want to eat her . John plays her militant zombie-killing father and Rob plays Nicholas' best friend [he is a zombie , too] . It has some good music [Nicholas likes music and I remember hearing 'Missing You' by John Waite among others] . I liked it and thought it was unique .

I must admit that the biggest reason I wanted to see this movie was because Theresa Palmer was in it. I think she is not only beautiful, but a great actress, I wish she was in more movies. I actually really liked the movie, a lot. I found it to be clever in a way. I never really was bored. Lots of touching moments and as always, Theresa Palmer was awsome. I am not a teen and have not been for decades and there were a lot of people my age who actually clapped when it was over. Of course you are going to have to put up with teens making noise all the way through. I heard some people were comparing it to the "Twilight" movies, not even close, this movie is MUCH better in every way. I only was stupid enough to see one of those movies, thank goodness. Worth going to see.
